True Indeed!!

Never break four things in our life  - Trust, Relation, Promise and Heart
because
When they break, they don't  make noise but pains a lot.
- Charles Dickens

Moreover,  an attempt to rebuild these things leaves patches and scars of the past same as the amended glass leaves the mark......
In fact sometimes it takes a life to build these, however, its easy to wipe out these in matter of seconds.

Happiness..In Search of its true value....

It would be a highly subjective answer when it comes to defining happiness and suggesting ways to achieve it. However, few would disagree that the contemporary ‘machine culture’ has made the life of most of the people similar and has thus brought with it some shared set of problems warranting common solutions too.
‘Happiness’ has been one of the greatest enigmas of human life with philosophers of every age and religion claiming to have found the formula for eternal bliss. Devotees search it in God, the materialistic in wealth; philanthropists in charity, young find it in love and children in play. Every person seems to have his own definition of happiness and every person seems to be in constant search for it. The near universal elusiveness of happiness is what makes it difficult to be summed up in a few words; or this is what we love to believe because we have never thought beyond happiness.
If we accept that we are perfectly happy, what next? Curiously, we need to cling to some sort of sorrow to carry on in life, to have a ‘target’ of happiness.
Although difficult as it may seem, happiness is more easily found than one could imagine. One only needs to have the right perspective to find joy in life’s small achievements. The foremost condition is to ‘accept’ that one is happy. Sometimes much is lost in the chase for the so-called ultimate bliss. Moreover even psychologists agree that charity and engagement in art brings happiness. Both these things are the best outlets for any negative emotion too. Striking a balance between work, leisure and social obligations is one more method of achieving happiness.
Whether or not we find a one-line definer of happiness we still can discover a lot of it all around us and we do not in fact need the moon to acquire it.

Funny!!!!! Comparison is good to understand.....

Amazing!! How the nature has devised unique ways to carry on life, even in plants.....

A splendid video with naration by Carl Sagan - a nobel physicist and secular humanism propagator. Forces us to think how tiny we are in this universe in comparison to king size egos we carry!!

Socrates Triple Filter Test

I read a very interesting test for supressing gossips n rumours......

As you all know, in ancient Greece, Socrates was reputed to hold knowledge in high esteem.
One day an acquaintance met the great philosopher and said, "Do you know what I just heard about your friend?"
Hold on a minute," Socrates replied. "Before telling me anything, I'd like you to pass a little test. It's called the Three Filter Test.

"Three filter?"
That's right," Socrates continued. "Before you talk to me about my friend, it might be a good idea to take a moment and filter what you're going to say. That's why I call it the three filter test.
The first filter is TRUTH. Have you made absolutely sure that what you are about to tell me is true?
"No," the man said, "actually I just heard about it and..."
All right," said Socrates. "So you don't really know if it's true or not. Now let's try the second filter, the filter of GOODNESS. Is what you are about to tell me about my friend something good?"
No… on the contrary..."
So," Socrates cuts in, "you want to tell me something bad about him, and you're not even sure if it's true?"
The man was beginning to look a bit embarrassed now.
Socrates continues, "You may still pass the test though, because there's one filter left: the filter of USEFULNESS. Is what you want to tell me about my friend going to be useful to me?"
"No, not really"
Well," concluded Socrates, "if what you want to tell me is neither true nor good nor even useful, then my child, why tell me about it all?"
Hearing this, the man apologized and went on his way......

Really friends if we follow these simple rules then we can avoid lot of conflicts and misunderstandings. Moreover, we can save lot of energy to divert for productive work.

LIFE AND DEATH – MYSTERY CONTINUES.....

Hi Guys.....I have one very interesting question asked by one of my friend – “What if no one dies?”

No one knows what happens to the life form present inside human being or any creature after death. And if at all we can prevent that life form to leave physical body, then by what means? A very good point, however, first basic question arises- How the life we see around is so???? What is this and how everything is controlled so perfectly? No doubt science to some extent answers some of the questions like about reproduction, galaxies and the many of the complexities involved around them. And even though the science to great extent does have helped to increase the life span of humans but basic question regarding the discovery of the “life form” is still eluding the human brains.
What happens if all are alive forever? What will be implication on cycle of nature? What will be impact on society along with need for resources? And many more questions....So friends if you people have some idea on these issues; please express your valuable views.
And please vote on subject of reincarnation, posted on right side of the page.

Positive Thinking

The power of thinking has a great impact on one's attitude. The thought process reflects the personality of the person and also, how the person carries oneself in every walk of life.

Positive attitude towards life provide a great amount of confidence to achieve all kind of success. Confidence lost means more than half battle lost even before start. When a person thinks 'I CAN' or 'I WILL' rather than 'I MAY' or 'I CANNOT'; the amount of enthusiasm and the confidence to achieve that goal becomes tremendous. Confident person always visualize successful outcome and never loose courage on failures. As some one said correctly: "The difference between can and cannot are only three letters. Three letters that determine your life's direction."

Moreover, positive thinking generates a positive atmosphere and motivates all the colleagues and friends. It will help to find solutions rather than crying over the hurdles which one face during journey. When this kinda environment is present, productivity rises exponentially.

One should try to associate with persons of positive attitude and keep faith in oneself alive by reading inspiring stories. How one can forget story of King Bruce and spider!!!. There will be lot of people and circumstances to discourage one's journey toward goal, however, if one keeps faith alive than no success is beyond reach.

So Dear friends as rightly said...You can close the windows and darken your room, and you can open the windows and let light in. It is a matter of choice. Your mind is your room. Do you darken it or do you fill it with light?

Lesson in Life

Hello dear friends, I wanna share this beautiful story with you all....

There was a man who had four sons. He wanted his sons to learn not to judge things too quickly. So he sent them each on a quest, in turn, to go and look at a pear tree that was a great distance away. The first son went in the winter, the second in the spring, the third in summer, and the youngest son in the fall. When they had all gone and come back, he called them together to describe what they had seen. The first son said that the tree was ugly, bent, and twisted. The second son said no it was covered with green buds and full of promise. The third son disagreed; he said it was laden with blossoms that smelled so sweet and looked so beautiful, it was the most graceful thing he had ever seen. The last son disagreed with all of them; he said it was ripe and drooping with fruit, full of life and fulfillment.
The man then explained to his sons that they were all right, because they had each seen but only one season in the tree's life. He told them that you cannot judge a tree, or a person, by only one season, and that the essence of who they are and the pleasure, joy, and love that come from that life can only be measured at the end, when all the seasons are up. If you give up when it's winter, you will miss the promise of your spring, the beauty of your summer, fulfillment of your fall.
So Dear friends - Don't let the pain of one season destroy the joy of all the rest.
Don't judge life by one difficult season. Persevere through the difficult patches and better times are sure to come some time or later.

Nature at its best!!

Nature in its way reflects lot of admiring incidents, here I found one of it circulating around.

Truth of life!!!!

Hi friends, we all wander in this life for ?

I think most of times, it is for living decently and keep ourselves happy whatever required to do so. However, how many times we realize or seek for the truth, that the internal happiness doesnot come from materialistic things. I am not saying money is not essential, it is to some extent but it doesnot provide everlasting eternal bliss which I believe everyone is after!!!

We most of times never try to look for truth behind life and the existence of every creature. Most of us rely on what is written in the books and no one knows their authenticity. I agree "absence of evidence doesnot mean evidence is absent". However, it may be adventerous to find out the truth behind this fascinating "Nature" and the very existence of so called "God". Somneone is there to care of Us in all thicks and thins is the assurance Everyone gets by believing in Him.

I saw this video, its wordings are really very nice and encourage us to find this truth.....

Emotional Ad Indeed.....

This advertisement forces us to think, why and after what we run....when everything will remain here if life ends suddenly. We should try to cherish even a small moments of happiness when alive.
